Chromatographic performance and scalability from pilot-scale AxiChrom™ 100 to ChromXACT columns

Chromatography purification processes are a central part of the production of biopharmaceuticals, and a considerable amount of time is spent on optimizing column performance. For process efficiency, column preparation and operation times should be kept to a minimum.

The purpose of this application note is to show that comparable column performance can be obtained when
scaling from a pilot-scale AxiChrom 100 chromatography column to process-scale ChromXACT 400 and 800 columns.
