Creating biomanufacturing capacity

In today’s fast-paced and highly competitive environment, speed to market is critical when launching a new molecule or enhancing existing capacity. In the shortest possible time, production facilities need to be up and running, while reducing costs, accelerating robust outcomes, and mitigating risk.
Single-use technologies enable shorter time to market at lower capital expenditure. Single-use technologies reduce manufacturing footprint, enabling smaller facilities with less cleanroom space,  resulting in lower costs for utilities, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning.
Here is an overview of an example where four  expansions, driven by the industry need for cGMP mammalian cell culture biomanufacturing capacity, have been implemented in four years.
