Here, we discuss the accuracy and performance of the inline dilution (ILD) technology found in the AKTA process™ chromatography system. We also compare the process economy of ILD versus manual buffer preparation — which is still the most common way to prepare buffers — by looking at the labor time, buffer volumes, floor space, and required investments for each approach.
